Thomas Hamel is the Managing Director, Head of Investment Operations of Catalyst Capital Advisors LLC, Rational Advisors, Inc. and AlphaCentric Advisors LLC (collectively, the “Advisors”). He is Vice President of Mutual Fund Series Trust, Vice President of Mutual Fund & Variable Insurance Trust, and Vice President of Strategy Shares.

Mr. Hamel has over 30 years of financial industry, accounting, investor services and investment operations experience. Previously, Mr. Hamel headed the client investment operations teams at Aksia LLC, Ivy Asset Management, and M.D. Sass Investor Services. Mr. Hamel was also responsible for overseeing various fund teams at J.P. Morgan and Neuberger & Berman.

Mr. Hamel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University.
