Digital Marketing Associate

With ~$13 billion in assets under management (as of 9/30/25) across multiple fund families (including the Catalyst Funds, Rational Funds and Strategy Shares ETFs), the marketing and distribution arm of the Catalyst Group is seeking a digital marketer to support its growing sales and business development teams, as well as its institutional business development efforts.

Working with a small, tight-knit marketing team and reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will be responsible for the following tasks (including other general marketing support, as needed):

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to design flyers, articles, newsletters and other materials directed to financial advisors, HNW individuals, and institutional investors
  2. Take investment management text + narratives and develop it into high impact marketing assets
  3. Manage the email design and distribution via Pardot and Salesforce
  4. Assess marketing campaigns by analyzing different marketing approaches (flyer style, email templates that work best ,etc.) and more
  5. Provide management with regular reports on web use, ads, and other content
  6. Actively maintain and contribute to the web presence for Catalyst Funds, Rational Funds, Strategy Shares, Catalyst International, and Catalyst Group Advisors
  7. Create and manage banners for digital ad campaigns – re-targeting, native advertising, social media content, social media, and more
  8. Assist with quarterly update materials as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications/media, computer science, or similar fields
  • 2-5 Years of Digital Marketing Experience – financial marketing industry experience not required
  • Portfolio of sample prior work to show upon request
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce/Pardot, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, often-changing environment
  • Ability to serve as Marketing liaison to Technology Department

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid position requiring four days in the New York City Midtown East office. Flexibility may be available based on individual circumstances and discussions with management.

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience, in the range of $85,000–$115,000. A discretionary bonus is distributed annually and is not included in the base compensation number provided.

Business Development Specialist

We are currently hiring Business Development Specialists for the New York City area to support the rapidly increasing demand of the Strategy Shares ETF family. The BDS will facilitate and support the sale of Strategy Shares by building and maintaining effective relationships with financial advisors across the country, working closely with fund portfolio managers to develop knowledge of fund investment strategies and portfolio characteristics, and fielding inbound product calls and making proactive outbound calls to financial advisors to share sales ideas, provide product information and offer sales support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Series 6 or 7 license required 
  • Develop a solid understanding of our investment products and strategies and become proficient at presenting their features and benefits.
  • Proactively follow up via phone and email with existing producers and financial advisors who have expressed interest in our funds.
  • Place outbound calls regarding product education and awareness.
  • Respond to inbound requests from advisors and fulfill fund information requests.
  • Work with distribution partner home offices to understand their platforms and policies and facilitate availability of our funds on their various distribution platforms.
  • Maintain financial advisor information in company CRM based on interactions.
  • DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred experience: mutual fund marketing/sales and/or financial advisor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to converse knowledgeably with financial advisors and other key personnel about investment solutions and current economic and market conditions.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills.
